Its June 2024 just finished the first half of the book. I think a person has to read the entire book to fully appreciate. I did pass this quote attributed to Joe Ryan, page 340, "We don't want the Americans here," the grieving man said, "If they leave , then we will have peace." Wondering what 'the narrative' is supposed to be versus just presenting data. "Facts" can be manipulated by someone who thinks their version is the 'moral' truth/facts. Given how many different narratives have been presented in the past, why not just continue to present what is known and let people come to their own conclusions?
